"lots of people ask me why i switched to the republican party. it is weird, but it comes down to a single issue: abortion"

Yes abortion is probably the one issue that unites most conservatives. Obviously it is not smaller government, less regulations or more freedom. And what is the GOP of today doing? pushing liberal candidates like pro-choice Rudy.

I never left the republican party, it left me

FEAR is nothing but False Evidence Appearing Real. In some instances, like this one, it's False Education Appearing Real. The prosecutor educated herself to believe that it's an impossibility. Keep up the quest. Keep up the enthusiasm. Every great venture began with a dream that was seemingly impossible.

To Steve- it is also illegal for the federal government to interfere that is the key issue, they continue to do so illegally, if they want to try to put there bullshit democrat programs on us they should get a constitutional amendment to do so rather then quoting article one improperly to make it sound like "this gives us the right to take 25% of your money and give it to other people"

First and foremost what is this? how can you claim to be a republican when your promoting huge amounts of social services, nothing about that makes you a republican. if you wanted to try and LEGALLY make social services at the state level it would still be against the ideas of the republican party, but you are talking about running for US congressional districts, so you are talking about ILLEGALLY adding social services to the US federal system with out constitutional amendment which is totally illegal as time and time again they have pointed out provide for our welfare in the constitution means to protect us from unlawful actions against us, such as ILLEGALLY SPENDING OUR MONEY TO GIVE PEOPLE IN THE NORTH WELFARE not only am i discussed you have called your platform a GOP platform i will fight to out right oppose you winning the 14th, you are ill informed to the core for example saying that congress "fixes" SS every few years is the dumbest thing i have ever heard someone admit is a good thing, each time congress has done it, it has been though printing huge amounts of money that have lowered the purchuseing power of the American dollar time and time again. so frankly you are as anti American as they come in my book.

The american people are becoming aware of the use of words "do it for the children" propaganda!! Kids have parents, it's time they take reponsibility to know where their kids are and what they are doing. You want a 3 car garage but someone else should pay for your childrens problems. Try taking care of your children instead of throwing them to the wolves
Ron Paul is right, it is not the federal governments responsibility to take care of your children. And if you want the national govenment to care for you children they have a wonderful program in China.

Get a clue. Ron Paul supports returning drug policy to the states by ending the miserably failed and expensive federal effort. He in no way supports decriminalization, he simply recognizes that the feds have made a mess of it, thrown hundreds of thousands of people in jail, torn up the 4th and 5th amendments and spent billions of dollars on a policy that has failed entirely. Drugs are as abundant and cheap as ever and just as many people are using them. The only thing that it has accomplished is eroding liberty and wasting money. If you want to run for office you should read a book and display a little intellectual prowess first.

Shorter Andy Mann: 'Look at all the cool stuff I can do with your money!'.

Not that I'm in your district. But if I were, I'd vote for Ron Paul. And I have friends in Iraq too - they've done what they can there, time to come home.

The thing is, law enforcement does little to protect your kids from exposure to drugs. but thats neither here nor there. His stance is, as in all things, centered around the constitution. He doesnt believe that the federal government has jurisdiction on what you ingest. Should they be granted the power to also restrict your food intake if you were overweight?
